We are excited to announce that Byzantion is rebranding to “Indexer.”

Byzantion is a multichain NFT platform that provides on- and off-chain indexing and interpretation data layers for Web3 applications. This rebrand reflects our company's evolution and commitment to making it easier for developers to build in Web3. It reflects our aim to be the application layer for all digital assets, i.e., the Indexer.

Since our launch, Byzantion has been dedicated to creating a more accessible and user-friendly experience for developers building in Web3. By providing an application layer through the indexing and interpretation of data from the chain, we've made it simpler for developers to build the applications they want and all of the features they need. As our company grew and evolved, we realized that our name no longer accurately represented who we are and what we do.

With the rebrand to Indexer, we're introducing a new name, logo, and visual identity that better aligns with our mission and vision. The name “Indexer” reflects our focus on providing a comprehensive application layer for Web3 by being the Indexer for the space, one that makes it easier for developers to navigate the rapidly growing and increasingly complex environment. The new logo incorporates elements of a compass and a stylized feather to symbolize our role in helping users see and decipher the data from the chain as if they were seeing it from a 30,000 ft view. Indexer is meant to connote that we are The Indexer for Web3, organizing all data from all chains and delivering it to developers in an application-readable format.

As part of the rebrand, we'll also be introducing some exciting new updates to our platform. Our new site will give users and developers even deeper insight into how our data can be leveraged and will give helpful information about on-chain and off-chain activity throughout the ecosystems we support. We'll also be integrating new chains - the ones we all know and love - very soon (hint: one rhymes with weeth).

We're rolling out the new branding out today. The Indexer platform will be fully live on Indexer.xyz, replacing what was at Byzantion.xyz. We invite you to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter for our company.
